Firstly, it's not a hotel - it's more of a guesthouse/ lodge.checked in ,entered the room it was a shock of a lifetime. Below standards and unhygienic. Bed sheets had stains-had holes , rat droppings, termites, floor was dirty, TV but no remote, AC but no remote, balcony faces fish market so can't keep the door of balcony open,rooms were never cleaned - had to literally catch their staff to clean our rooms,except for 2-3 local staff from the owner to the "so called reception staff" it was a nightmare. Don't think of this " hotel" unless u have no other option. It's unhygienic beyond anyone's imagination.Never saw my family so happy while checking out and wanting to runaway. If you want to book hotel near vailankanni church go for 1) hotel dravidar (best and near) 2) Clinton park Inn 3) hotel VPN residency These hotels provide good hospitality.

Wilson hotel is our favorite one when we visit velankanni pilgrimage we usually have breakfast,dinner and lunch here. Nice hotel. Usually order paper roast and ghee roast from here. Nice hotel for beginners.

Don't ever stay in this hotel..naaah its lodge meat smells makes vomit sensation i went to front office staff to complaint but one old useless lady not even hearing my complaints not even able to stay here better take another room while visiting velankanni or do read reviews

The only good point about this run down place is that it is safe and close to the Velankanni bus stand. The rooms are horribly maintained with broken shelves, peeling paint,and stinking. They charged 2000 rupees for a night taking advantage of the long holiday week during Pongal. But not worth even 500 rupees. Stay away from this place as there are better hotels a little away from the church for this price.
